He spoke to eurobasket after the 74-65 game two win in Giessen.

Alex congrats on the game two win in Giessen. It didn´t seem as easy for BG Goettingen despite Giessen not having the services of Myles Hesson.

It was not an easy win. You have to give credit to Giessen as they hard and with heart. It was not a pretty win.

What was key for the big 14-1 start by BG Goettingen in game two?

We had a slow start in game two in Essen and ever since that game, we have keyed on trying to have fast starts like tonight in our games.

The Giessen heart didn´t reward them with a win at home in game two.

Yes that is true and they played with a lot of heart, but this is playoff basketball where each team elevates their game. Every team plays a bit harder. Now with Giessen with their backs to the ropes will probably play even harder in game three.

Giessen cut the BG Goettingen lead down to six points in crunch time. What was key for BG Goettingen getting the win?

Giessen not shooting three pointers. They missed some open looks. We have to attack better in those situations.

You have played for top Belgium teams and in the D-League. Why did you come to the German Pro A to BG Goettingen?

I heard good things about the coach and players and felt it would be a good opportunity for me. I also want to play in the Beko BBL.

What is a hidden strength in your game that doesn´t get noticed right away?

I have the ball in my hands so often that I think that my passing gets overlooked. I passed more in college and now am playing more the position two. I loved watching Steve Nash. He was so good passing on the pick and role.

You were teammates with German Johannes Herber at west Virginia. Did you know he wrote a book?

Yes I did but its in German. Joe is a great guy that I unfortunately have lost touch with over the years. His intelligence brought his game to another level. He was one of the smartest players that I ever played with.

Who was the best player that you played against in the NCAA that might be in the NBA now?

Russell Westbrook.

Who is the best player that you played against in the German Pro A?

Without a doubt my teammate Harper Kamp. He is such a dominating player and has a high basketball IQ. He plays at the skill level of a guard at the forward position.

What do you miss most about ex teammate Devin Ebanks?

That I only played one season with him. I was a senior when he came in. We were young that year with three freshmen. He was in the NBA and now in the D-league. He is so talented and has gotten better and better over the years.

You are a Miami Heat fan. Will they three peat?

Yes. I am a big Lebron fan.

What was the last DVD movie that you saw?

The Big Lebowski.

Thanks Alex for the chat.
