Congrats on the big 81-75 win against Alba Berlin. How good did it feel beating the best team in the Beko BBL currently?

It felt great, Alba is good tough team, so to get this Win meant a lot to our team. We needed to get that one.

Phoenix Hagen have had great fortune in last years beating Alba Berlin at home. Did Ingo Freyer ever mention this last season or this season leading up to the Alba Berlin games, or did he want to keep that good streak more of a secret? Perhaps Storch Kruel let out the secret of the wins the last years against Alba Berlin?lol

No there was no hype about it, we just went into the game normal. Just trying to protect our home court.

It was a very tight game throughout most of the three quarters even though Phoenix Hagen had a seven point lead at times. However in the fourth quarter, Phoenix Hagen broke away and was able to win the game. What was the difference in the fourth quarter that let you win the game?

Our pressure on defense increased and they ran out of gas

You have had some big games this season, but none as big 31 points and 10 rebounds to help beat 8 time Beko BBL champion Alba Berlin. You have been very consistent the two years in Hagen, but do you believe that something changed with your game in this win with your performance? Do you think fans will expect even more from you in the future?

Nothing changed, I just took what the defense gave me in the 2nd half and kept being aggressive. I think the fans already know what I’m capable of and I think they know I go out and play hard every game no matter what my stats are.

You played against Clifford Hammonds now twice this season. You have played with great point guards and against many good ones. He may get lost a bit in the fine Berlin rotation, but he still is a very good player and had 24 points. What was your overall impression of him and what did you like most from his game?

He played consistent last game and kept attacking and answering for them, he pretty much was keeping them in the game. He was pretty quick.

The next game is against the s.Oliver Baskets Wurzburg. Phoenix Hagen opened up against them to start the season winning 86-79. What recollections do you have from that win?

It was a good game, we controlled the game for the most part, out rebounded them and forced 22 turnovers

Wurzburg has been playing very spirited basketball as of late and Phoenix Hagen beat them on the road. What kind of game can we await in Hagen and what will be key in getting the win?

You can expect the same type of game like last week, great defense and and an uptempo offense. They key to winning this game will be our will against theirs and whoever wants it more

What was your take on the 2014 NBA allstar slam dunk contest? Many were disappointed about it? Are the dunking ideas running our or no new Vince Carters coming up on the horizon?

I think it was good, the format was a bit different but the dunks were cool. I mean dunks are getting old but we are only human, people can’t expect too much

Lamar Odom has signed with a Spanish team. He is most likely done in the NBA. Do you think that he can adapt quickly to the European style?

I think he will be alright depending on how serious he will take it

What was the last DVD movie that you saw?

Thor 2

Thanks Larry for the chat.
