Congrats on the big 73-57 victory against TBB Trier. Phoenix Hagen have had games this season where they scored 30 points more, but no games letting up as little as 57 points. How perfect was this performance on the defense end?

It was a very important Win and confidence booster for our defense. It was a great team defensive effort.

Phoenix Hagen led from the start and controlled the game for 40 minutes. Was this a game where one could say it was back to playing classic Phoenix Hagen basketball?

I would say so, we’re getting back to the swing of things.

How important was it mentally for the team to be able to win this game on only 3/15 shooting from downtown and finding other options on the offensive end to get to points?

We really weren’t worried about that because with our defense and us shooting 58% inside the paint, we pretty much controlled the game

Your teammate Henry Dugat had his best scoring game of the season with 26 points. It seems like nobody will forget the exceptional season that Davin White had last season, but do you feel that Dugat is getting more respected by fans now, because he has shown that he is a consistent point guard that knows how to run the team?

Henry has his own identity and he proves it every game. He will be successful and help take us to the next level

Phoenix Hagen won the rebounding duel 36-32, but Vitalis Chicoko of TBB Trier had eight rebounds including four offensive boards. Is he one of those players that you can classify as the classic player that likes to crash the offensive glass? Is it more his leaping or anticipation that beats you on the glass?

He is tall and has a long wing span and he is pretty athletic. So I don’t think rebounds are something difficult for him

The next game is against the Mitteldeutscher BC that Phoenix Hagen lost to 80-73. How vital will it be that you only played them less than one month ago. Will fans see a totally different game this time?

I guess it’s okay, our biggest focus is to just come up with the Win. Their definitely going to see a different game

What do you remember the most from this game? Possibly the combined team three point shooting of 5/32? What will be key in getting the win?

I think we just let them score too easy in the paint and they out rebounded us. Key to winning is we have to be more aggressive on defense and make everything tough for them and rebound

Were you surprised that the big favorite Denver Broncos were embarrassed by the Seattle Seahawks? Were there any teammates crushed on Monday the day after?

No I wasn’t surprised, all the hype was on Seattle and I knew they would make it a good game. Nobody was crushed, we were just spectators enjoying the game

What was the last DVD movie that you saw?

Breaking Bad (TV Show)

Thanks Larry for the chat.
