He spoke to German Hoops before the game against the TBB Trier

Thanks Larry for talking to German Hoops again. Congrats on the hard fought 85-81 win in Braunschweig. Are wins like these against teams with the identical records and teams in the same standings region double as important at this juncture of the season?

Definitely, getting wins like that will definitely help us to start separating ourselves from that middle pack and make our push back in playoff position

You have hit many big shots this season and hit another clutch shot in Braunschweig to give Phoenix Hagen the 83-79 win. Your leading the league in rebounds and what nickname do you like most Mr rebound or mr clutch?

I’m the Rebound King for sure, have to hit a few more big shots to get that Mr. Clutch title.

Phoenix Hagen has lost quite a few close games this season, but kept their composure and nerves in Braunschweig. Is Phoenix Hagen going to be a better crunch time team in the second half of the season?

I hope so, we learned a lot as a team from the 1st half of the season. So all we to do now when put in that position is to execute down the stretch

You had a solid game with 12 points and eight rebounds. Immanuel Mcelroy isn´t the youngest anymore, but still a very good defender. What can you appreciate from his game?

He works hard and he battles. I think age is more of mental thing than physical in basketball. Your as young as you feel

The next game is against TBB Trier. What can you remember from the 88-82 road win near the start of the season?

We shot very well from behind the arc and did a good job of controlling their top scorer Hughes

TBB Trier is a very scrappy team that never gives up to fight. Nothing much has changed from the roster except that German center Andreas Seifert has developed further in the last few months and become more of a pest down low. Do you know how much Americans Keith Ramsey and Dino Gregory value your rebound help this season?

They encourage and push me to stay on the glass, we all play and rebound more confident when were on the flight together because we know we got each other’s backs when it comes to the boards

Your leading the Beko BBL in rebounds with 8,0rpg. Will be see an even more aggressive Larry Gordon on the boards in the second half or will you give some extra energy to other parts of your game?

Rebounding is one of my strongest attributes but I’m an All Around player so I don’t just focus on one thing, I do a lot of other different things on the court that sometimes stats do not show. So I’m just going to keeping doing what I’m doing and let everything else take care of itself

What was the last DVD movie that you saw?

The Bling Ring

Thanks Larry fort he chat
