You are playing your first season for top European team Olympiakos S.F.P. Pireus. Has this season been everything thing that you have dreamed of?

Yes it has. We have achieved many goals and have reached the Euroleague Final 4. If we continue to improve then I think that we can still achieve many things this season.

Is ist like a dream playing with top players like Joey Dorsey, Acie Law, Vassilis Spannoulis, Pero Antic and Lazarzs Papadopoulos?

For me its like a dream being able to play with them each day. For me it is a learning experience each day. They also have been a big reason why the team has improved so much this season. Half of the team is 23 or younger and they have benefited a lot from them?

Panathinaikos Athens and Olympiakos S.F.P. Pireus are fighting to win the league title. What will be key at the end to win it all?

I think the most important thing will be having the home court advantage. The fans are so crazy here and the atmosphere is always great, but for us it is better to play at home because we feel most comfortable there. We have lost only once at home. Panathinaikos have many experienced guys and are always tough to play, but we have to put them in uncomfortable situations.

What is your nicest memory of the big 78-77 win at home against Panathinaikos Athens?

We lost the first game away and there we already felt like we were as good or better but that loss gave us experience and in the second game we knew that we could beat them. It is always important to play consistent against them for 40 minutes. If you don´t do it then they find a way to take advantage of your mistakes. We feel we are a better team after the second game.

How difficult is it playing against Mike Batiste?

He is a good player with a lot of experience and it is never easy playing against him. It is always a good matchup against him. We played against each other three times and I think all three games were pretty even.

What has been the most crazy experience that you have seen in Greece this season on the court?

The fans are very passionate here especially with the rivarly that Olympiakos S.F.P. Pireus and Panathinaikos Athens have. I have had quite some crazy experiences, but it is too difficult to explain how the atmosphere is in the arenas. One really needs to see it live. There are so many emotions in this rivarly.

How are Chris Fleming and Dusan Iukovic different in their coaching style?

Both are great coaches. Iukovic has so much experience and has won so much. Chris Fleming is more of a teacher and is more patient and less of a screamer while Iukovic is more emotional and more of a screamer.

Olympiakos S.F.P. Pireus is in the 2012 Euroleague Final 4 with Olympiakos S.F.P. Pireus, ZSKA Moscow and FC Barcelona. Olympiakos S.F.P. Pireus playes FC Barcelona. What can we await from the Final 4?

I am really looking forward to this Euroleague Final 4. FC Barcelona is a very strong and experienced team. They have been together for a while. We have to play with a lot of energy and play fast paced which is our strength. Teams usually can´t match up with our speed. ZSKA Moscow is the favourite. They have one of their strongest teams in the last 4-5 years. But it is one game and anything can happen.

How much are you looking forward to playing against Pete Micheal?

He is one of the best players at his position. It is always a challenge playing against a player of his talent. I will need to be physical against him and not let him get easy baskets.

Have you ever played in a louder arena than the Peace & Friendship arena where Olympiakos S.F.P. Pireus plays?

No I don´t I have. The fans are so passionate and it is amazing playing in an atmopshere like that.

What is your favourite place in Athens?

I like to be at TGI Fridays, but at Grafada where I live it is nice to walk around as there are many restaurants and cafes and it is by the water.

How much do you miss the Brose Baskets Bamberg? You were one of the first to congratulate the team after their 2012 cup win.

I miss Bamberg a lot. I still keep in touch with the players, coaches and fans. It was a great experience being able to play in Bamberg and win 2 titles. I hope they continue to do great.

How would you do against Marcus Slaughter on the court?

We played together 2008 in the NBA summer league for the Charlotte Bobcats. I talked to him when Bamberg was in Athens playing Euroleague against Panathinaikos. I would win a one on one.

Marcus Slaughter is tough to stop when he is dunking.

Yes he is, but I have had some nice dunks in my career also.

What was the last DVD movie that you saw?

The Rocky series.

What was your favorite part?

Part one.

Thanks Kyle for the chat.
